The “Campus Emprendedor” initiative, is a competition aimed at fostering the entrepreneurial spirit and the creation and development of new companies in the Castilla y León region.

It is organized by the Fundación de Universidades Castilla y León, with the collaboration of Castille and León Government and the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC),  within the frame of the Network “Transferencia de Conocimiento Universidad-Empresa TCUE”  in which all the Universities of the Castilla y León region participate,  including IE University.

The competition has two categories: 1)  Innovative Business Idea (three prizes in equipment and training within the initiative “Vivero Universitario de Promotores Empresariales”),  and  2) Business Entrepreneurial Project  (four prizes in cash ranging from 6.000€ to 10.000€). The main requirement for application is that the business Idea or Project has to be based on the Castilla y Leon region.

IE University´s  students, fellows, alumni (up to 2 years of graduated), Professors, Researchers and staff , are invited to participate in this competition. Deadline for the presentation of candidacies is July 17, 2019.
