An interdisciplinary research group of IE full time faculty members of IE Business School and IE School of Human Sciences and Technology has been created to develop a common and relevant research agenda on Decision Making at IE.

IE has a long path in developing research and obtaining relevant results on Decision Making topics. The creation of the Risk, Decision and Uncertainty Group https://rudgroup.ie.edu/ is intended to consolidate and this path. The initiative, originally promoted by Professors Matthias Seifert (Operations Department-Decision Making- IE Business School), Kriti Jain (Organizational Behavior Department and Human Resources-IE Business School) and Anisa Shyti (Accounting and Control Department- IE Business School), has finally materialized in a consolidated group with the mission of “advancing our understanding of how individuals and groups make decisions in the fact of risk and uncertainty”.

Other IE Business School member Professors are Antonis Stamatogiannakis and Dilney Gonçalves (Marketing), Emmanouil Averignos and Jeeva Somasundaram (Operations),and José Lejarraga (Entrepreneurship).  Members from the IE School of Human Sciences and Technology are Professor David Santos and Professor Laura Zimmerman both Assistant Professors of Behavioral Sciences. The group also hosts IE Business School PhD Candidates Sreeya Guha and Shijith Kumar.
